Lush Times: Santa is back and he’s a nice bright orangey-red; he smells of citrus fruit and looks a little bit like a Sumo wrestler. This year Simon Constantine (co-head-perfumer) set himself a task: Could he make a scent for Santa that was even more beautiful than last year’s? We think the answer’s yes. Mark, his dad and the other co-head-perfumer, asked Noriko to put it into the Santa shape, she made it red and lo! Satsumo Santa was born. Simon’s scent is lovely and refreshing, with mandarin oil, bergamot oil and orange blossom absolute. At Christmas time when we feel tired and used up, these citrus and orange flower scents are uplifting and stress-relieving, and they’ll tone your skin too: just right.
