Lush.a.Lot's Review: This is a smaller ballistic that smells really spicy and floral. It smells sort of like a combination of Potion, Skinny Dip and Daddyo. Monet’s Garden is a smaller ballistic like Butterball or Waving Not Drowning. It's a beautiful, bright leaf-green colored ballistic, studded with little candy violets and intensely perfumed with many, many flowers. A hint of exotic is added in the form of middle eastern galbanum and far eastern elemi oil. This is the ballistic that Lush made to be like their Flower Market perfume, soap and powder. It smells like a more floral Skinny Dip. Leaves a bit of a green ring. It was also one of an artists series of ballistics which includes "Kiss Me Klimt", and "Bon Bain Bonnard" and the current "Still Life" ballistic.

Summer 2001 Lush Time's description:

Monet's Garden is one of our occasional series of artistic Ballistics; its look is inspired by 'the lily pond thing' as Mo puts it; it is bright, leaf green, studded with purple candy violets. Synergistically, Monet's Garden is scented with violet leaf absolute and a stash of essential oils to give it a real turn of the century (20th not 21st) rich, floral fragrance, made by Mark as a tribute to Audrey Hepburn as Eliza Dolittle in My Fair Lady. (She sold bunches of violets at Covent Garden market; it's that synergy again.) Both galbanum and elemi essential oils are known for their grounding effect on the mind, so a Monet's Garden bath will help you to keep your feet on the ground, just like Eliza did, and make you smell delightful, just like Eliza once she'd had a few baths.
